I have chosen not to keep a presence on any of the Meta platforms as I consider them to have become largely unusable, toxic, AI-driven hellscapes. I have created placeholder accounts on Facebook and Instagram should I ever change my mind, but I have no intent of using them at this time.
After careful consideration I have decided on the following platforms, and more may follow. I hope you will want to connect me with through one or several of them!
Substack
Substack is my alternative to an email newsletter. You can subscribe for free or read it as a blog; I plan on treating it as hybrid of the two and will simply write about all of the subjects that interest me with an emphasis on my art.

Cara
Cara is a social media and portfolio-sharing platform for artists and art enthusiasts. It does not allow AI-generated content. Cara is a very neat, ad-free platform that does not get nearly enough attention. I will be posting art, graphic design, and photography.

Pixelfed
Pixelfed is another ad-free, decentralized alternative to Instagram. I will be posting art, photography, and graphic design but rarely anything from my private life.

VERO
VERO is ad and algorithm-free. I will keep strictly to photography here for the time being but that may change up ahead. You do not need to join VERO or download an app in order to view my content, it is open to all.

BlueSky
An algorithm-free Twitter/X alternative. Please be aware that this is a place where I sometimes post content that is not art-related. This includes politics as well as personal beliefs and opinions. I don't post here much though, I am a wordy person and find writing short-form content difficult.

You need a BlueSky account to view my content. The image content I post on Flashes will automatically post to BlueSky.
Flashes
BlueSky's image-sharing alternative to Instagram. Ad-free and mostly algorithm-free. Not just art but also pictures of my dogs, my garden, and all of the other things I love. No personal beliefs or politics (as opposed to BlueSky).
