I have been infatuated with the ethereal properties of light from a very young age. In Sweden, we never experience the full darkness of night during the summer months, only a lingering twilight. There is not a single golden hour, but rather hours and hours of glowing, fiery light gradually transforming into pink, blue, and purple pastels. Walk into a Swedish summer night and you will feel enveloped by fairy tales, dreams, and old myths, where all living things transform into something fleeting and almost unearthly. I am constantly in awe of this magical world, shaped and illuminated by the transience of light.

Those brief moments when light kisses the surface of nature and awakens its hidden songs are what I try to capture in my art and photography. "Maria Miraculi" translates to "seas of wonder," and I invite you to enter this enchanted realm through my artwork, where nature signs and creatures dream.
